A new minister and construction progress for the new church building 9/7
Missionary Don Lee in Mexico thanks BMU members for prayers and support.
Update on September 7:
Teams come to do painting works this weekend. Kitchen facilities are yet to be equipped, and the bathroom floor needs tiling.
The necessary kitchen facilities include a refrigerator, a stove, tableware, storage furniture, etc, which cost about $2000. The bathroom tiling also costs about $2000.
It’s almost done, but we come to pray to God and wait for God’s guidance as we become weak just before the construction is over.
The first minister for the new church (La Gracia Comunidad Cristiana en Eréndira (Kairos)) is Ezequiel Guzman Morales.
He and his family including two boys have been living in Erendira since last August. Thank you for your support with prayers.
They stay in the pastor’s house that was built recently, and his daughter and son-in-law who are music ministers stay in the trailer for a while.
For kitchen facilities have not been equipped, they cook in the trailer.
Necessary goods including beds and mattresses were sent from Obed-Edom mission centre to the pastor’s house, and chairs will be sent this Saturday.
Missionary Lee will stay in Chiapas in the third week of September to give a lecture at Harvest Bible University in Chiapas. Thirty four ministers will take an intensive one-week course as part of getting master’s or bachelor’s degrees. He is supposed to meet Rut there, and he may visit the church in the remote mountain village.
