Hurricane relief in Guatemala: resettlement 3/2021
Missionaries Young Chul Shin and Mina Oh have helped indigenous people who lived in aldea Quejá, San Cristóbal Verapaz where Hurricane Eta last November caused the village to be destroyed by landslide, leaving 61 people dead. Those 35 households who lost their home and family members are trying to resettle in el Mirador nearby, by developing the mountain region to build houses for households one by one while they all are staying under temporary tents. The missionaries provided for each household a bag of 100 lb corn that was carried away up to the mountain region for an hour. Pray that the peace and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be upon the indigenous people.
They worshiped our Lord Jesus Christ under the tent.
