Mission activities in Guatemala 09/2022
On September 1, the Guatemala missionaries Young Chul Shin and Mina Oh sent us their story on recent activities for indigenous people in Guatemala.
“Yesterday we picked up stoves on two trucks and delivered them to a village that is about an hour driving.”
“We brought them to every house, went back down from the mountain village, bought blocks, and went up to the village.”

“We worked together for households where no men were to install, and young men learned how to assemble the pieces, and completed installation at three houses by day. They will work together for the rest of the village.”

“It will be heathier for them inside the house that smoke from fire in cooking had filled with but now is gone away from through the stovepipe. Indeed I rant out to tears because of the smoke when I helped with the installation.”

“Water is scarce on top of the mountain where the people are living so that they had collected rainwater. With stoves installed, water purifiers were given to them so that they now can use clean water.”

“All the work wouldn’t have been done if it were not for the love and interest of every member of the Bethsaida Missionary Union. Thank you for your patience and trust in me, and most of all, for your endless praying for me, a nobody, who could bear doing these works given by God!”
